A quiet turn of the page.
Horiguchi’s career includes Japanese television animation, from the folktale series Manga Nippon Mukashi Banashi to NHK’s Minna no Uta. INORI describes him as a free spirit, known by the nickname “Dokoitta”.
His art book Namu, published by NICE+DAY in 2021, gathers illustrations of Buddhist images. Presented here with an optional wooden stand, it brings a different scale of encounter to the collection: an image to return to in the rhythm of daily life.
